Week by week

The semester as sixteen rows: what class covered, what was due, what the project needed that week, and how it went

The current week is 4. Weeks run Monday to Sunday with class on Wednesday; homework is due at 11:59 pm on the dates the schedule page prints (mostly Mondays, HW3 on a Friday, HW12 and HW13 on Sundays). The status and progress_note columns in data/weeks.csv are the team’s own record: set the status when a week closes and write one honest line about what got done.

Progress so far

3 of 16 weeks closed (19 percent of the semester).

Reading the cadence

Quizzes fall in weeks 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 and each covers only the material since the previous one; the lowest of six is dropped. Project deliverables land roughly every two to three weeks from week 3 onward, and the heaviest stretch is weeks 9 to 13, when the pilot analysis, final survey and final report overlap with HW8 to HW12 and three quizzes. Week 14 is Thanksgiving with no class but the final survey in the field, so the final analysis cannot start until the data lands; that is the tightest link in the critical path.
